William Kazman - Co-Founder and Advisor - wkazman@ekaru.com.

William Kazman serves as an advisor to Ekaru's technology vision. He is an engineer and entrepreneur with over 20 years experience and has most recenly founded a new venture, iTeam, Inc.. He has served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Staples Corporation, working with Founder and chairman, Tom Stemberg, on the launch of Staples Business Expo.

Bill has held senior level engineering and management positions at several high-technology companies over the years: Prior to co-founding Ekaru, Bill served as founder, President and CEO of a clinical e-healthcare company combining the most advanced networking and Internet technologies to enable collaborative medicine, including a state-wide voice-video-data network, one of the most advanced in the nation at the time; at Zydacron, he architected and helped design the world's first single-board CODEC which led the way for desktop videoconferencing; at Proconics International he developed robotic vision systems and servo controls for semiconductor wafer and mask handling systems; at TRC, working with "the father of modern robotics", Joe Engleberger, Bill helped to develop mobile robots for hospitals, post offices, transmission line inspection, and household robots for cooking and cleaning; at General Foods he developed advanced factory automation and machine vision systems for product lines ranging from Cool Whip to Pudding Pops.

Bill serves on the Entrepreneurial Advisory Council of the MIT Enterprise Forum, is a past member of the Young Entrepeneurs Organization, and completed the Inc Magazine "Birthing of Giants" 3-year program. Bill has lectured at MIT, Tufts University, and been featured in The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Boston Business Journal, Mass High Tech and numerous other publications.

Bill holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT.
